NW Iowa | When I want to fill my top-dry with corn straight out of the field, I climb to the center of the drying chamber floor, remove the 4 screws that hold the inverted cone in the center of the drying chamber, and just set it off to the side. The corn does splatter some when it hits the center plate with all the chains for the chutes, but the bin does fill even. Put a piece of 3/4 plywood over the fan opening to get more in the bin if you need to. Put the center cone back in before you cover that center plate or the corn will bend it. | |
