South Bend, IN | Sorry for the long post. Hope someone can help. I have a 9600 with a 930F grain head and 893 corn head. Problem started at the very end of corn harvest last fall. Corn head drops automatically like normal start picking and at random times for no reason head just raises all the way up. Try to lower it and it overrides and keeps raising to full up. Turn off the dialamatic lower and pick manually. Turn dialamatic back on and it works fine until it randomly does it again. No ryhme or reason. Thought it was in the corn head until I cut beans this fall. Grain head does the same thing. I did notice cutting beans that the height and sensitivity box in the cab with the 5 red lights would have dim lights to no lights and that seemed to correspond to when it acts up. Shut off the dialamatic cut a few feet and flip on and lights are bright and all good till it does it again. Also, always have a green light and no codes at the headsight box on the head. Talked to headsight support and they had no ideas. Gray cable from the head into the cab height/sensitivity box all looks fine. Not sure if it’s the height/sensitivity control box is going bad or if it is some sort of dialamatic problem? It does it with the switch in any of the 3 positions. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
