Southern PA | Yep, I agree with the consensus that something is wrong.
You don't need a bigger radiator, you just need to make 100% sure what you have is working correctly.
Make absolutely sure you can see a light shining through your radiator everywhere. If that is good, test your thermostats for proper operation. Make certain your fan belt isn't slipping. If all that checks good, check/replace the water pump.
If all that fails, your radiator is likely plugged internally.
Bottom line, the original cooling system is easily adequate if working properly. | |
