Would always go counter clockwise from outside of field in.

If you go counterclockwise around a bush, your 2nd and 3rd passes would leave the furrow wheel cut with each pass. So you always work to cover the furrow.

We would always lift up at corner, make 270 deg turn, drop discs and seed over the pass that brought you to the corner. Seen guys who would not overlap and then make a pass across all the corners to seed the skops. That works ok in open fields, but with lots of potholes and bush you never know where your corner will be 6 passes later so seed with no skips to go back and find later. .

Its one of those things you figure out as you go. Crossing furrow wheel cuts isn't all that pleasant so you learn to seed to cover as many as possible.

Thank you 69Cat, I follow what you say about the 270 degree corners but I'm still not sure about going around bushes. Do you mean to make several counter clockwise rounds? How would you cover any of the furrows that way? Or would you only make 1 pass counter clockwise and then go clockwise for the 2nd round? Most of the bushes around here are too big to simply lift out and go around for 2 or 3 rounds until you could cut straight across the end, bypassing the bush if you know what I mean.
