| On my 4850 a few weeks ago in the field it acted like it was low on oil. Implement and 3pt raised slow and the steering had a slight “catch” in it when you turned the wheel. We checked the oil, added a little, changed filters, but noticed when you revved the engine up it functioned normally so we drove it home and parked it.
About a week later just moving the tractor everything functioned like it should. Few days ago I noticed the 3pt chattered really bad when lifting and when using SCVs there was a significant amount of shaking in the hoses when using them. Driving it around the barn there was a delay in between gears when shifting and the warning light beeped for a split second.
I say all this for a direction if anyone has experienced similar issues and what solved it. Tractor has 12000+ hours hoping it’s just hydraulic pump in the front. | |
