West Texas near Lubbock | I would start by checking out the can bus wiring.
Swap out the can bus terminators.
I had a similar problem with a 4720. It drove me nuts for 3-4 years. Worked most of the time but spraystar would stop working in the middle of a spray job but would usually work after I restarted. One day it quit working. I finally removed the roof and found the can bus terminator located there to be defective.
I replaced it and have no more problems with spraystar.
The 4700,4710 has different terminators than the 4720 but I’ll bet that 1 or more of the terminators is not working.
