on my S78 the straw spreader flashes green with no audible alarm reading the operator book it sounds like it has been turned off if i unplug it it flashes red when i unplug it and put my meter on the pickup wire and spin the spreader it makes the meter pulse i must be missing a step somehow on turning it back on anyone have an idea i’ve missed

Did you recalibrate the speed sensor on the EIP?
Separator and header on, engine wide open, then back the throttle down about 100RPM...doesn't have to be precise, just slow it down a bit. Then touch the EIP button for the spreader, and hit the OK button on the EIP.
