coast of Maine | On our builds we use primarily air driven coated nails.In the major hold areas we use construction screws,such as when trusses are attached to the plate,keeps lift impossible.I have heard of "nails are better" but when I try to break apart any project that had screws or nails the screwed pieces are darn well attached and often the wood breaks before pull out on screws. | |
