SW OH | My wife just got a new pair of work boots and I'm about to start wearing a new pair. 40 years ago it was a big thing to soak leather boots with neatsfoot oil. Both when new and throughout use. It's that still a thing? I haven't done it in 30 years. My boots in the last 30 years have lasted longer, but we don't have dairy cows anymore. My boots usually rot from the inside out. As expensive as they are, would some kind of external leather treatment be worthwhile?
