Subject: Believing in GOD but not the devil????


I am not religious so enlighten me,,,How is it that so many believe in one entity but not the other when they are both in the Bible. When someone says to pray for a fellow farmer who had an accident,heart attack etc. many of you say you will but yet you scoff at the word devil,,do you think your prayers are making a difference?
