| There are many many jobs that don't need a smart person,,just someone that knows how to do one little thing and is reliable...Twenty years ago I worked 70-80 hour weeks in the factory because we couldn't find people to do assembly work day after day. I have a cousin that has never had a private sector job,,she has been fired from a dozen different government jobs but moves over 50 miles and gets a new one in a different location...she was no genius but was making 90,000 the last time her salary was published. Her brother had a very simple dot job and retired after 30 years and was pulling down 85,000 a year.
I hate to say it but we need more immigration because between kids going to college till 22-24 and then retiring early we have more sitting around than working. | |
