South Texas | Here there are flood control lakes about that size, often on several properties. The fences just run into the lake same as if there was no lake, only see them when the level drops. Anyway, the fences seem to hold up fine enough. These lakes also have grass buffers and sediment catchment ponds, so silting isn't much of an issue. | |
