| Using a negative flow shift is possible in SMS and may make the map appear better than 0 shift, but the fundamental problem is that the points/data don’t exist in the raw file to improve everything at each end of the pass. If the points aren’t there to be assigned, you create subtle other issues. As mentioned this can be somewhat driven based on operator, different models of combines, and such that there is no one right answer to improve the maps with 1 setting, so we leave the options to the user to try to adjust as they see fit.
Regarding our data in 3rd party systems, we provide the tools and documentation, but it is on their end to apply the settings in their system to render the maps (or similar, they expose the settings to their users to optimize for each user/make/model). | |
