SC North Dakota		This is how it's done here as well. We background all our calves to add value, so the wagon is out anyway. Couple that with feeding poorer hay along with silage, the cows are happy and satisfied. They also get a balanced mineral package fed direct vs the uneven consumption of loose or lick tubs.
