If you're in cotton country, it's a viable alternative. I'm set to buy some this year and shiver at the thought of what it will cost. Cotton is only worth 66 cents a pound. Only folks planting it are the ones with a stake in the gin. Will lead to a short supply and thus drive the price up. | |
