| I think where a double alley speeds things up is working multiple groups that you want to keep separate (maybe a feedlot that has different pens with different owners).
You can put the last 10-15 head in one side, close the gate, and load the other side with the new group. With no worries of one doubling back, or jumping ahead.
If you normally work everything as just a few big groups. Probably not worth it. | |
