Vegetable growers in solar farms. Small scale I'm sure, but I know a few families in rural IL that have sent kids through college raising vegetables on less than 5 acres, so it can be a way for some to make a living.

Are you a vegetable farmer? Are you curious what it would be like to grow between solar panels? Join The Food Group for a tour of our pilot agrisolar project.
This tour will focus on farming successes and the challenges of growing on a solar site. We will share more information about this unique model of land access. The solar farm manager, Big River Farms staff, NREL, U of MN researchers, and at least 2 of the 5 farmers currently growing on site will be present.
