There's a reason why barley, durum, and oats are pretty much non-existent in certain locations in the Dakotas. Because the climate isn't conducive to those crops anymore. HRSW is on its way out the door to because of the same reason. Nobody drinks beer anymore anyway, pasta will kill you according to the carnivore cultists, and nobody eats oatmeal anymore so why grow them if there's no market. And even if there was a market, most of it wouldn't grade better than feed grade because of scab, vomitoxin, sprout, and every other climate related dockage the end user can think of. Canola is starting to gain some popularity outside the traditional growing areas, but there again, the products made from that and most of the sunflowers grown will kill you according to the carnivore cultists. And the edible bean market really can't handle much more growth unless we all start eating them every day.
