China isn’t being arrogant, they’ve strategically expanded the global grain production base by way of South America and they’ve been working in Africa to do the same. They don’t need our beans as bad as we thought, that’s on us. We misjudged our leverage. But to blame the last 8 months of Trump for the problem is so small minded and lazy it’s laughable and almost not worth responding to. Except for the very real fact that the people who think this all came to pass in 8 months have the right to vote and screw up other things through their ignorance and lack of critical thinking
