SW Ohio | I have 3/10 of an acre of corn that is half milk line that I need to do something with or it will be mowed down in the next 2 weeks. If I can't do anything with it I am not really upset, as this could be more messing around than its worth, but if I can get some good out of it I want to.
We have a herd of 15 brood cows, and also about 15 feeders. Have a neighbor with similar amount of cattle.
Equipment I have, sickle mower, bush hog, disc moco, round baler, combine. No wrapper, no silage equipment.
What would be the best course of action to feed some or all of this corn? We are dry and supposed to be getting hot, milk like will likely disappear quickly. Kernels are still squishy and have not black layered yet | |
