About 10yrs back our good local store was still open back then. I needed upper ball joints on a Chev 1/2 ton. They actually had 3 brands in stock!! So we opened all the boxes and gave them a good look over. All three were in sealed plastic bags. All 3 had the exact same size bag and sealed in the exact same spot with the exact same sealing machine. 1 company was making them for everyone.
There was $10 gap in prices. $25-35.
Found out power steering hoses was the same story also.
They could all be the exact same part. It's also possible that there were different specs for those different parts, even though they apparently came from the same factory.
Is there anyway to really tell if everything looks identical?? |
Moog steering and suspension parts quality???
