EC Mo | Reality is a large swath of the country hasn't had a significant rain since July. Even though there was cooler weather at times during that period there were also hot spells mixed in. When crops appear to be suffering during 70 degree days you know its dry. Doesn't matter how ideal the first half of the growing season is you will always lose yield with 7 weeks of no rain to end the growing season. The big question is how much and that is yet to be determined. | |
