My dad had somewhere over 9" of rain in July and I had somewhere around 7". I had 4 tenths spread out in August. Guess what, the July rains don't matter to bean yields in this part of MO. We don't hold that much subsoil moisture. As of today beans are dying on the clay. Whole fields by the end of the week. And I don't mean maturing, I mean dying. What they'll make is anyone's guess. |
