| Were did I state that the WSJ did or did not quit posting price ? I simply stated what the drop in price was in the short term ( 4 days until the price turned higher)
Here are simply the things you have decided to make up about my post
1) that I stated the WSJ stopped posting anything on corn price.
2) That I was married in 1980
3) I never stated that you said anything about how much corn price dropped - I simply added the price drop for context of how thigs unfolded back then.
4) don't know how many bushels you had but using the info you gave that .15 cents a bushel cost you 40k means you had somewhere around 250,000 bushels of Corn and you stated that most of it was seed production so that would mean 130k of seed corn which would have made you one of , most likely thee biggest seed corn producer in the world.
That is crazy that a seed corn would stick that many eggs in the same basket of somebody producing his 4th crop ever.
Just a few things that make me go hmmmmmmm
