NE Indiana | If you ding a young crop, it has the whole summer to recover and produce. If you ding a crop that's almost finished it's pretty much over. By the time it recovers its already going to be mature. The only question that matters is what it does to yield if it loses the last 2-3 weeks of pod filling. If it's already starting to yellow, probably not much loss. If it's still green, it's going to take some bushels whether it kills it or not. | |
