| Normally this time of year you see a lot of soybeans starting to yellow so it would be a non issue. But around my area 99 percent are totally green yet... if we get hard frost tonight there goes at least 25 percent of the yield... if you don't believe read some university papers on it. It all depends on how long and how cold. A little nip doesn't hurt much... but it could be more than that. Either way we are not dealing with an early harvest this year. North Dakota is the 4th largest soybean producer. So potentially is something that could affect the market eventually. But hopefully no frost. | |
