Northeast central NE | Brother and I were at a seed dealer meeting for Asgrow years ago and had an old bean breeder tell us that when the temp gets below 40 degrees for more than 4 hours a bean plant shuts down pod fill for several days. Only time I’ve heard that but always stuck with me. Could explain some things after a near killing frost. | |
