Around here Walden Colorado area is the gold standard. It's big elk country and a beautiful place to visit.
Probably can get you a grey wolf up there now too.
Or are you allowed to hunt those?
Ha, you could probably get one but you'd spend the rest of your life on the run from the wolf activists! That is a extremely heated situation up there. I think the state will compensate you for livestock loss but those wolves are massively protected by the government right now so ranchers are having a tough go.
