My over the top Charles Bronson type neighbor did not take anything from anyone. Straight out of Hollywood, he dressed in black western clothes even when baling hay and everyone was scared to death of him and for good reason. He didn't bluff or scare worth a darn. His dog half killed a neighbor's dog that they had on a leash right in front of his house. He told her "I pay taxes right to the center of the road and if I see you and your dog on my road again I will shoot it." She called the cops and they just left.

LOL! I don't look anything like Bronson and I wear a neon yellow t-shirt when baling hay :) My deeds do usually have a paragraph that states that this parcel contains XX acres including X acres in the roadway....

But seriously, we need to protect our property rights. Allowing private companies to do whatever they want in the road right of way is not a step in the right direction. What if a solar company wants to line the ditches with solar panels? By some people's logic this is ok because they might be considered a utility because they produce and deliver electric?
