Bottom of the Mitten | We have some big transmission lines (unsure of their technical name) in my area that have been here longer than i have. They have a right of way under them for anything they see fit. I farm under them in a couple spots and last year they needed to do something with them and flattened the corn under it about this time of year. I'm not complaining, just stating that can happen and I knew it was a possibility ahead of time. They emit a lot of stray voltage and there's talk of it being cancer causing (do your own research on that topic). When under them you can hear them crackling and it makes everything vibrate. They wanted to put some across my own ground a couple years ago. They were offering $100k/mile one time payment. I wasn't interested but the project fell through anyway | |
