Central, IA | I’m not from Ohio, but, I would agree with the utility company. At least in Iowa, they are entitled to run public utilities within the road right of way. Ours have to be permitted by the city or county. They shouldn’t need an easement until they get out of the right of way.
My basement has a gravity draining tile that goes across the road to the river as well as some field tiles we installed. When the fiber came through a few years ago, I showed the foreman the outlets and he snaked them to verify they missed them. | |
