| Risk management used to mean taking personal responsibility, knowing that commodity markets will in time, average break even prices. You either could be a least cost producer, and/or add value or spread risk by having a diverse operation. With the consolidation and vertical integration in all of ag that certainly has become more difficult. But it also seems to be way more work than many want to do. So blaming Trump for trying to end the US from being the world's biggest patsy is an easy target. | |
