West Chazy, New York | Inside the blue line there all kinds of waterways. Most canoeing and kayaking is on ponds and lakes and their connecting streams. Be aware that what the map calls a pond is often a small lake, so don't let the name put you off. Also be aware that river levels can rise and fall drastically with rain or dry conditions. It can go from ankle deep to life endangering in a very short time. Saranac and Ausable rivers run close to us plus a whole lot more smaller ones | |
