Franklinton, LA | Tom, I appreciate the response. I am amazed at the opportunities that pop up unexpectedly. My Grandson started playing soccer when he was 5 or 6 years old. He played 4 years on his high school soccer team. They won the MS State Soccer championship his junior year. When he got to MS State he met some people he had played against in high school. He enjoyed playing with them on a campus soccer team his freshman year.
His sophomore year the lady's soccer team coach recruited my Grandson and some of his friends for a practice squad. He wanted the lady's team to practice with players who were bigger, stronger and faster. The MS State Lady's Soccer Team made the NCAA Playoffs in 2024 and 2025. They also won the SEC in 2025. He had a lot of fun practicing with the lady's team and he got a few free tee shirts.
