Western Oregon | No co-ops here anymore. If it wasn't for the big equipment company mergers we would not have any local competition close by. Would be JD and Kubota only. CaseIH dealer and Massey dealer were dead. Kubota got something else to sell besides tractors. JD dealers are all owned by 1 company. I farmed with JD tractors, field equipment was spread around, bought used from farm sales. But today it would be Kubota for anything new. Great dealer(s). Seed and fertilizer are independent dealers as are hardware and lumber. Sales are direct, peppermint oil, grass seed and red clover seed. Silage direct to dairy....James | |
