SC Iowa | Had an old cattle pond cleaned out and capped last year, kind of a horse-trading work with a neighbor. No leaks all fall and winter, but when the water rose this spring it is seeping through the dam. It appears to me that it is coming through in the area that they cut the dam to drain it. That being said, I think it leaked a little before they worked on it. Somebody suggested tossing bagged bentonite clay in. Any other thoughts or experiences for getting it sealed up?
