Holly Hill, SC | The track you see in the wheat fields may be older than you think. I sprayed my wheat with a fungicide on March 31. Driving by on the road the sprayer tracks look fresh yet are 1.5 months old. The wheat is about 75% browned up for us right now. Sometimes the edges or pockets will stay a green a little longer than other areas. Maybe the weeds dying on the edges are weeds that have naturally hit maturity such as Italian rye grass. | |
