Thanks for the replies, I expected a range of replies which I got. I happened to be at my CIH dealership yesterday and mentioned my thoughts to the Part Manager who I trust. He said that they had received some of the knock on adapters where the rubber grippers were not completely attached when new.
He said he believe that CIH is coming out with something different for another attempt at the knock on style for next year. They carry the CIH bolt on, CIH knock on and Nichols in this store.
It would be wonderful if they came out with some better, cause what they have now is a joke! |
