Central ND | Has anyone ever fixed the wind direction sensor on a Davis Vantage Pro 2? Weather station?
Mine started giving wacky readings and at times it just defaults to the false north reading, so I'm assuming its a bad potentiometer.
It looks like about 240$ for a replacement through Davis to replace the whole wind vane and wind cups unit together. Has anyone ever repaired the direction potentiometer or do you just bite the bullet, chuck it in the trash and start over with a new anemometer setup and call it good?? | |
