Eastern NE KS | We/she have/has found them as close as 50 yards nestled in grass clump and as far as 2 miles ( usually with continued but inadvertent pressure from me ).
My guess is less is more and let the cow fix it, if you can. Give her all the access you can because the calf needs to smell mom more than just hear her.
When it is older it will come to her call better than right now. | |
