NW Washington | Wow, a trip over Lolo at this time of year would not be for me.
Now up the Lewiston Grade and on to Spokane. You will go right through the heart of the Palouse hills.
I read that the road to the top of Steptoe Butte near Colfax is washed out now and won't be repaired for some time. Steptoe is a great place to get an overview of that area.
