Subject: Locked phones?



Callao Missouri		The subject of locked phones comes up from time to time. Why are the phones locked?

My Motorola you click the button on the side, and swipe and its ready to go.

Think about it , you walk into any place with a land line, you just pick up the phone and dial, why does a cell phone need to be any different?
