E.Central MN | Wouldn't Trump's tariffs reduce Canada's export of lumber which may be a boon for Canadian builders. I don't understand why the US still had tariffs on Canadian lumber and foreign produced fertilizers to start with. The higher cost that the US construction industry and home owners paid because of the tariffs didn't really result in making the domestic lumber industry any more viable than it was to start with. If the resources are cheaper in Canada then we're pretty stupid not to take advantage of that. Does anyone think Trump specified only USA made steel when he built his big developments? | |
