E.Central MN | Some kids were screwing around and rolled their p/u in the ditch here (luckily nobody got hurt). Everyone was pretty polite, no smell of alcohol, and they had already called their Dad. So when he got here I asked if they could come back in daylight and pick up the bigger pieces of the plastic air dam material that broke off their truck. The next morning they showed up with some shovels, lawn rakes, a couple pails and cleaned things up. They even raked up most of the broken windshield pieces which is hard to do because it shatters into such small pieces. In your case, if you know who the kid was and nobody got injured, I'd call his parents and ask them to get him to clean it up a little bit. It's his mess, it won't hurt him to clean up after himself. | |
