Kingston,Mi		The class of 1965 at my high school had about 20 young men, many worked night shift in Pontiac Motors to afford any car. About 10 or so thought a GTO fit the bill, one neighbor accidentally cut the wrong hole in the transmission tunnel for a 4 speed instead of an automatic and ended up buying and driving a Midnight Violet (believe that was the color) with a Black vinyl top.
