North west MN | On a 220 3 wire 10hp motor like a bin fan or auger does the green or ground wire carry much of any voltage or amps i should say? Or is it just ground? Reason i ask is im wiring up a 200 amp panel that will only have 3 50 amp 220 circuits to a large generator and using 2/O wire for line 1 and line 2 from the generator to the 200 amp panel and wondering if I need 2/O wire for the ground wire too or is 2/O bigger than needed?
