NE Iowa | I agree with you. I have never VRT’d a farm and not had the cost covered by the saving in the lime application. Couple that with actually getting the lime where it’s needed and the P and K where it should be.
The smaller the grid the better. Here are a couple maps of the same field that were gridded on different size grids.
