When a particular part is made , certain % goes to new production vehicles with the remaining to parts inventory . On common parts that are a little quicker moving , the very large multi location dealers will immediately hog up all of that part and then refuse to transfer one to another dealer . The only way to get the part is for the customer to go to the large dealer and get it . When you get to Mr. big dealer ,they tell you how they are really looking out for you by having the part and that your local hometown dealer does not care about your business . Happened to us 2 times recently | |
