2004 John Deere 9860 STS 2WD Combine with 4153 engine hours and 2889 separator hours. Runs and combines but could use a rebuild on a lot of the machine. We were quoted $10,000-$15,000 in parts to rebuild the feeder house chain, feeder house floor, rotor, and concaves. Rear tires should be replaced from some dry rotting on the sides. Front tires are about 40%-50% tread. Has huge grain tank extensions that can hold up to 400bu on the grain tank. Has good chaffer and sieves. Chopper was all replaced less than 750 acres ago. We never ran the machine for corn. Only beans and a little rye. Less then 500 acres most years. Handled 35’ grain head easily. Stored inside in a shed the 11 years or so that we owned it. Would still be a great machine for someone who wants to put some work into fixing it up.
