The Case 500 Y splitter/FLOW-DIVIDER Repair Kit for p/n 84555356 is a high-quality product designed and made in the USA! This repair kit is specifically made to address and repair issues related to Y splitters and flow-dividers, where the original hard plastic tabs break off and have poor grip. This boot attaches to the end of th flow divider, giving you a flexible, gripping rubber like end to clamp down on for a stronger hold on the hose. It can be used on a flow divider that has 0, 1, or both tabs broken off.


Each kit includes 1 boot and 1 hose clamp to fix 1 hose connection on the Y splitter.


After searching extensively for a fix for the flow dividers / Y splitters (PN 84555356 ) on a case 500T and coming up short I decided to design my own.
Repalcement flow dividers are around $200 each. We picked up a 500T two years ago, thinking we got a deal until we realized nearly every Y splitter was broken and patched together with everything from duct tape to expanding foam. With the price in of new parts in mind, I came up with this design.

This HAS NOT been tested to fit the updated flow dividers, (pn 51437156). This is an alternative to purchasing the updated flow dividers at nearly $200 each.


Here's what I came up with.
The boots are 3d printed using TPU, a rubber like material that's grippy and weather resistant. They're form fitting around the ledge on the y splitter past where these usually break. The hose still sits inside the y splitter inside the original tabs, so no lip or anything is created that could effect flow. The seed never touches the boot. No need to trim the original tabs, the boot fits regardless of whether 1, 2, or none of the tabs are broken off. I've installed them across my planter and after 2800 acres of covercrop and soybeans, I haven't had a single hose come out again! After sharing some pictures a bunch of people shared interest in getting some. So I figure if theirs a demand i'll make a bunch and ship them out cheap! I've sold around 500 of them now, and haven't had a single negative review or complaint. Nothing but postive feedback on this being a good, long term fix.
